Most top-performing employers recognize that maintaining a healthy workforce is not only critical in controlling their health care costs, but also has a major impact on the performance, productivity, and well-being of their employees. Organizations that pursue best-practice employee health management through wellness, disease management, and other health-promoting programs have seen substantial returns on investment (ROI), as well as enhanced employee morale and satisfaction.
ABG assists employers with implementing a wide variety of wellness initiatives ranging from basic walking programs to more thorough results based, incentive programs. We know that offering employees the tools and resources they need to live healthy and productive lives is important to you, but you may not have the staffing and/or budget to achieve this. ABG has the capability to support our clients in many ways. From forming a committee, providing health and wellness materials, creating office challenges and consulting on plan design we can implement a custom program that will impact your organization.
If you don’t walk the walk, you can’t talk to the talk. ABG has its own corporate wellness program to encourage health and wellness within our organization. We promote local events and volunteer opportunities as well as challenge each other through steps and activity with FitBit’s.
MSU Gran Fondo
Gran Fondo – As a part of ABG’s active wellness program, the MSU Gran Fondo tops the program as our favorite event. Each year Team ABG participates in the ride and fundraises to support skin cancer research. The MSU Gran Fondo 10 for 10 Team Challenge is a great corporate wellness opportunity to encourage active lifestyles and community support within your organization. If you haven’t registered there is still time! The ride is Saturday, June 25th. Visit www.msugranfondo.com for more information.
The ladies of ABG have been a part of the Gazelle Girl Half Marathon & 5k for three years now. As a sponsor of this year’s run ABG had the opportunity to be more involved with this great event. As a part of the Expotique, prior to the run, ABG hosted a tutu making booth. The event is dedicated to empowering women and proceeds from the event go toward a variety of organizations in West Michigan. Those include Kent County Girls on the Run, Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women, the YMCA, and Gazelle Sports Foundation.
