Partnering with Advantage Benefits Group has been good for The Bouma Corporation. We found that we do not have an Agent for health care, but rather, a Team of people dedicated to finding solutions. Advantage Benefits Group started our health care renewal process by holding a series of Focus Group meetings with our employees. These meetings provided some valuable information, and they allowed Advantage Benefits an opportunity to develop a relationship with our employees. Some great ideas were offered, and a solution was developed together. We made some significant changes to our health care plan offerings and added an HSA option.
These changes required a significant communication effort. An aggressive meeting schedule, over several days, in multiple cities, at varying times, was required to complete the task, and Advantage Benefits Group was there for every meeting. Because Advantage Benefits was involved in every step of the process, many employees felt comfortable calling them directly to discuss which health plan would be best for them. They were and are an extension of the HR department. Beyond that, they are just nice people!
